Indira Vizha is based on Hindi movie Aitraaj. In hindi the lead roles are done by Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Amrish Puri. In tamil the same replaced by Srikanth, Sruthi Prakash and Namitha.
Earlier Raghuvaran scheduled to act on Amrish Puri's character,since he died during the production of the movie, Nasar replaced him.This became his final film that he signed and completed a photo shoot for.
The story based on a career oriented female who longs for real love. To get the love how she is harassing the hero on all the ways. In the end lawyer-heroine saves hero.After a long time court based movie has come in tamil.
